RULES and REGULATIONS:These rules are subject to change with out warning!!! Specific Rules for Edwards AFB/Ames Research and Development. Copyright Policy. 1. Do not steal from other painters and builders, ANY work that is not your own, we constitute that as cheating and is punishable by the fullest prosecution possible by law. Also it is a Copyright Infringement of the author of the aircraft and the license for use given. We uphold ALL Copyrights of original models, textures and flight dynamics from existing aircraft modified. Do not remove any copyrights. Only add for the contribution work you made on plane. 2. Please put your name in all documentation, Aircraft files and any other documentation. This is for Q&A by Flight Test Divisions or other painters who find any discrepancy with the project in question. And to identify the author's work and aircraft created. 3. Please do not swap projects with any other painter/modification personnel, without FIRST consulting and getting approval by CO/XO both. Projects are Bi Weekly assigned, and MOST assignments are given by skill level of individual. Assignments may vary on projects given by order from Vairtech Corp. 4. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS WORK GIVEN OR RELEASED TO ANYONE BUT VAIRTECH PERSONNEL. From here the Vairtech Personnel will release to Client. We pride privacy and this work is for NASA EYES only. What we do is not released unless approved by CO/XO and Public Relations Officer, and the Client VA CEO. The Public Relations officer of VNASA is in charge of releasing public statements, articles and or data concerning our projects. It is not open for public sharing to anyone outside of this organization. 5. VNASA does not have any control or access to the Vairtech Download and status report to the contracts setup by the respective organization. Any problems, contact webmaster@vairtech.co.nr 6. Pickup Sections: For placed orders are only issued to the CEO of the Virtual Airline. They have approximately two weeks to fully pick up their order or ALL DATA will be archived, deleted from Web and forwarded by E-mail to the Virtual Airline. We must make room for new contracts and other Virtual Airline orders and we have limited account space. 7. Assistance for building: If you have a question, please check the documentation section. Documentation MAY have been posted that can help you. Otherwise ASK a supervisor, or someone. I will have a working mailing list and an open forums section to ask questions. Chances are they might know the problem and assist you. 8. We have no specific recruiting tactics, but if you know a person who knows how to repaint, and is experienced, please send him to the Vairtech Website 9. ALL NEW recruits must download team speak from www.teamspeak.org and are required to use it unless other wise told. It is not needed by the CO/XO! 10. It is a new policy that any and all emails gathered by Administration be held as "Confidential'" Property and are not to be used for any outside access of VA. They are intended for "Internal" use only. 11. We have the right to remove you at anytime from the active service of Vairtech and VNASA. If you Have read these rules but still are confused or not sure about something, PLEASE ask the CEO Vairtech and or the CEO of VNASA and they will try to explain the rules) so you may have a better understanding of them. Requirements Section:These are requirements that we look for in a Painter/Modification and are the minimum requirements. (Depending on the job you apply for their MIGHT be other reqs that are part of the job that might not be listed in this section!) 1. Painters must have a working knowledge of the converter program at least to be able to manipulate files cleanly from 98/2000/2002/2004 from the textures (.#af) to bmp (or any type of texture file to picture file, .BMP is preferred). Documentation is available for 98/2000 repainting in the docs section (Reptut2.zip) for assistance. Documentation should be available soon for 2000/2002 and 2004 repainting in the docs section for convenience. 2. Painters must be able to paint cleanly, and have a clean image or texture. Sloppy painting, and mistakes make us look bad and to new people who would join us. 3. To modify and for 2002/2004 Modifications: Personnel must have a working knowledge of the aircraft.cfg file and can change the file, at least be able to convert and knowing what information to add to make the plane show up in the proper place in the 2002 or 2004 FS database.
4. A working knowledge of HEX Editor is required for ANY 98/2000 planes and some 2002 planes. Being able to manipulate the model file, (.MDL) and to be able to change texture files, (filename.#af) to another name in the .MDL file. (Documentation is available in REPTUT2.zip in the docs section for assistance) 5. Having knowledge and being able to install planes into FS2002 and FS2004, including gauges. 6. All members MUST have team speak Client, and must know how to use (Documentation should be available soon if you need assistance or if you're not sure how to connect using Team Speak!)
